Overview
A live platform for an Ottawa-based physiotherapist and personal trainer, connecting clear service journeys, movement resources and an interactive educational check-in with a custom admin CMS.
Challenge
Create a coherent web presence for two distinct services: clinical physiotherapy through the clinic and personal training through a separate enquiry journey. Make educational resources easy to discover and give the practitioner tools to maintain the site.

Implementation & engineering decisions
Built the platform in Next.js, React and TypeScript, with responsive interfaces and React Bits interactions. Connected a custom admin CMS to Firebase Authentication and Firestore through server APIs. Implemented enquiry and guide workflows, content publishing and configurable email integration.
Distinct service journeys
Separate clinical booking links from personal-training enquiries, with dedicated service pages and clear next steps.
Custom content management
Authenticated admin editors manage resources, services, training offers, guide settings and media. Server-side content filtering and sanitization govern what reaches public pages.
Educational check-in
Built a multi-step Body Pattern Check with a direct PDF download and optional email delivery. The guide is educational and shared, rather than presented as a diagnosis or personalized treatment plan.
Backend & email workflows
Implemented server routes for enquiries, submissions and subscribers, with separate marketing consent and unsubscribe handling. Brevo integration supports email delivery and admin delivery statistics; actual sending depends on configuration.
Interactive frontend
Built responsive service and resource interfaces with React Bits components, GSAP and motion effects, including an interactive practitioner badge.
Result
Launched a complete public website with service-specific journeys, an educational resource library and a guided check-in, supported by a custom admin CMS and backend workflows. The case study documents delivered functionality; traffic, conversion and search-visibility improvements have not been measured here.
Search & AI Architecture
Implemented page-specific metadata, canonical URLs and social previews; JSON-LD for the practitioner, website, services, articles, breadcrumbs and visible FAQs; resource URLs and a dynamic XML sitemap; and robots directives. Consistent practitioner identity, author information, clear service relationships and question-based content give search and answer systems explicit context. These are implemented foundations for SEO, AEO and GEO, without claimed ranking or AI-citation gains.
